The Wolf’s Mate Series

The Wolf’s Mate Book 1:  Jason & Cadence (January 2012)

For 14 years, alpha wolf Jason has watched his partially marked mate Cadence live her life without him. Circumstances force his hand and he must find a way to get her to uncover her buried memories of their past before someone else steps up to take her from him. For as long as she can remember, hybrid wolf Cadence has loved Jason with every fiber of her being, but he’s consistently shoved her away until the love that’s there is bound tightly in anger and shame. No one can take his place in her heart, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t wolves willing to try. Will Cadence be able to get through Jason’s icy demeanor to the heart of the boy she’s always loved? Can Jason undo the past so they will have a future together? This book contains red-hot werewolf loving, plenty of neck biting, and misuse of a kitchen counter. The Wolf’s Mate is a book for mature audiences only and contains sexually explicit content.

The Wolf’s Mate Book 2:  Linus & The Angel (March 2012)

He thinks he’ll be alone forever:

Linus Mayfield has a lot of good things in his life: fourth ranked in the Tressel wolf pack, nice house, decent job, and plenty of friends. What he doesn’t have is what he longs for most – a true mate. His first foray into marriage was a disaster and he’s certain he’ll never be free to love again.
She’ll prove him wrong:

Karly is an Angel, a supernaturally perfect mate for one special werewolf. She’s spent the last 15 months looking for her mate, only to nearly die before she ever meets him. One icy winter night changes both of their lives forever.

When their past interferes with their future, will all be lost in the darkness, or will he find his perfect angel in time? This book contains plenty of claws and fangs, possessive werewolves willing to move heaven and earth for their mates, red hot werewolf sex, a sweet wolf with a heart of gold and an angel made just for him.

Available for 99 cents on Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Diesel, Kobo, Smashwords and other eBook retailers.

The Wolf’s Mate Book 3:  Callie & The Cats (June 2012)

Callie Hunter, best friend to alpha half-wolf Cadence, has had enough of the pack life. Setting her sights on anyplace without wolves, she heads north only to be sidetracked by a devastating car crash that brings her face to face with twin mountain lions.

Ethan and Eryx, small town sheriff’s deputies, knew the moment they touched Callie that she was the mate they’d always wanted. But mountain lion females don’t take kindly to sharing their males with anyone else and will do anything in their power to discourage Callie from sticking around. Will Ethan and Eryx’s desire for Callie cost them everything, or will Callie find her inner wolf and the home she’s always dreamed of?

This novel contains menage-a-trois, hunky cops, handcuffs, an on-the-run she-wolf, sex in every room in the house, and inappropriate use of the phrase “assault with a deadly weapon”.

The Wolf’s Mate Book 4:  Michael & Shyne (October 2012)

Michael Gerrick was beginning to wonder if he would ever find his truemate. Fate seemed to smile on him, when he fell hard for the delectable fitness instructor, Shyne. The only problem: three were-hyenas want her for their clan and are willing to do anything to get him out of the way.

Shyne Jackson was smitten with Michael from the moment they met. Swept up by his devastating good looks and sense of humor, she’s unaware of the plotting of her were-hyena bosses behind the scenes as they attempt to keep her and Michael apart. When they cross the line, will a showdown of fur and claws destroy everything she holds dear?

This book is for mature readers only and contains a wolf looking for his mate, a woman with a dark past, neck biting, plenty of teasing, wisecracks galore, and creative use of a pool table.

Available for $1.99 on Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Diesel, Kobo, Smashwords and other eBook retailers.

NOOK TWMBOOK5 Final copyThe Wolf’s Mate Book 5:  Bo & Reika (January 2013)

She’s on the run for her life …As a child, she-wolf healer Reika Snow was promised as a mate to three were-lynxes to prevent a war between her pack and the lynx clan.  Her freedom is coming to an end as her twenty-third birthday arrives.  With her bleak future as the subjugated bride of the three males looms near, she does the only thing she can think of … she runs.  With the lynxes hot on her tail, the only thing she can do is pray she can find safety, somewhere.

He’s not going to let her get far …Bo Elliot, highly ranked member of the Tressel wolf pack, rescues a she-wolf from the claws of three were-lynxes as they attempt to capture her.  When she awakens, he’s surprised to find himself staring into the beautiful blue eyes of his truemate.  With his bum leg, Bo doesn’t want to tie Reika down to a wounded male like himself by acknowledging that they’re mates, but he vows to set her free from the lynxes and give her back her life.  It will take every trick in Bo’s book to keep Reika from taking off on her own in a misguided attempt to spare him from getting tangled up in the hot mess of her life, but Bo will do anything for his truemate, even if it means walking away once she’s free.

This book contains a scarred wolf with a heart of gold, a she-wolf healer who wants to protect her truemate at any cost, and a wolf-on-lynx battle that will determine where Reika spends the rest of her life.  Readers should expect possessive werewolves, passionate sex, neck biting, and the kind of horniness that only the full moon can bring.

Available for $1.99 on Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Diesel, Kobo, Smashwords and other eBook retailers.

B&N Final (with Best Selling) The Wolf's Mate Book 6 copyThe Wolf’s Mate Book Six:  Logan & Jenna (May 2013)

Jenna Odile planned to spend the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday partying with her friends before she cast a spell to find her truemate. Before she can, she’s captured by a group of criminally-minded werewolves who want to use her fae-abilities to commit crimes. Poisoned and left for dead, she used the last of her strength to cast the spell for her truemate, hoping that he would find her before it was too late.

The last thing Logan Anderson wanted to do with his Saturday evening was watch over the young male wolves in his pack while they attended a dance in hopes of finding their mates. As the night wore on, he began to feel compelled to leave, and his instincts led him to race into the woods at the side of the highway. In the darkness of the woods, he finds a woman near death, who begs him to protect her. Now, nothing is more important than helping her get well. He’ll deal with those who hurt her… later.

This story contains a male werewolf with a dark past, a fairy who can’t wait to find her truemate, and the betrayal that brings them together. Features hot werewolf-fairy loving, mythical creatures, full moon madness, and lots of neck biting.

Available for $1.99 on Amazon, Apple iBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Diesel, Kobo, Smashwords and other eBook retailers.

      • Mary says:

Thanks for letting me know. I just finished the other two books. I loved them. I really likes how you tied up the story of Elizabeth, Axe and Ash. I can see more in the future for the Boys. I can’t wait for October. Keep up the great writing. I am now a huge fan and so is my sister. She is reading with me.

        • R.E. Butler says:

I’m so glad you enjoyed Curve & Fang. In case you missed the recent blog post, you can get the third in the wiccan series A Price for a Princess, for free on Smashwords during July. Thanks for stopping by!

  • April Schaefer says:

Hey how come a price for a princess isn’t sold thru B&N??

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi April! There was a little snafu in the delivery of Princess to B&N, so it won’t be on their site for many more weeks (maybe end of August). In light of that, you can get it on smashwords for free for the month of July using the code SSWIN. Hope that helps and sorry for the delay! Best, R

  • Curve of claw is just the awesome books ever. I just love the characters especially the main character, Elizabeth. I was wondering if there is another book withe the same fun but a different story.

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Missy. Curve is the first of three currently published stories. A Flash of Fang (book 2) continues Ash, Axe & Elizabeth’s story. Book 3 is A Price for a Princess and is Daeton’s story. Book 4 is due out in August. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Best, R

  • annemarie says:

awesome books although i wish callie an cadence remained close friends

    • R.E. Butler says:

Thanks, Annemarie! I’m glad you have enjoyed the wolf series so far. It was hard to write the C&C story, but I knew it was important for both characters to be able to go their own way. Especially Callie, in her new world. Thanks for stopping by!

      • Flo says:

There seemed to be a great divergence from the opening of the story to the ending on the relationship between Callie and Cades. Callie becomes a complete and total witch and very selfish to my way of thinking. She made the choice to leave for Cades but then dumped Cades along with pack? Then she can forgive certain asinine comments for the twins and treat Cades horribly but then can’t forgive one small comment made in frustration, confusion and anger over Callie’s treatment of Cades. What is up with that? It just left such a bad taste. The relationship could have diverged and transformed without completely annihilating that friendship so that Cades is left completely alone and without now. And really, the twins continuing to speak up for Callie but Jason never once given the chance to say hey, I made the choice why take it out on Cades or speak up in defense of Cades as the twins to Callie. Callie was made to seem so fragile and co-dependent, yes she was preggie but so was Cades… food for thought, not my fav of the series, left a lot to be desired.

        • rebutler says:

Sorry that the storyline didn’t sit well with you, Flo! I know it seemed harsh, but Callie’s relationship with Cades had to end so that she could get on with her life. It was the same for Cades, too. If they’d both kept hold of each other when they were going down such different paths, it wouldn’t have been good for either of them. Everyone brings their own emotions when they a story, and I’m glad that you shared with me. All the best, RE

    • Annemarie says:

Thanks really enjoying your writing style and the depth of your characters. Can’t. Wait for Bo’s story imagine his story will be complex! Can’t wait. Thanks for sharing your stories!

      • R.E. Butler says:

You’re so sweet! I’m looking forward to Bo’s story unfolding as well. He’s one of my favorites from the first book, but then again I like them all. :-)

  • Ginge says:

When is the next ones coming in in both series?? Love the books and need my next fix!!

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Ginge! 8/24 for book 4 in the wiccan series and sometime in October for book 4 in the wolf series (I haven’t gotten it back from my editor yet, so no real firm date in mind at the moment). Thanks for stopping by and your sweet comment!

  • Jenny says:

I just finished your new series the tribes bride. Again you did an amazing job. I loved it. I just wish it had been longer I didn’t want it to end. Thank you for another amazing book :-)

    • R.E. Butler says:

Have read books 1 – 3 of the Wolfs mate series. WONDERFUL! I do wish B & N had them available as soon as the other distributors. • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Kat! I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed the first three wolf books! Sometimes the delay to Nook is just a couple weeks, but sometimes, like in this case, it’s going on forever. I have a note into Smashwords and hope it will be resolved soon. In the meantime, you can get a free account with Smashwords and download the book for your Nook (or any ereader) there. • R.E. Butler says:

Yes, TK. I know that it’s taking forever to get the book onto the B&N site. It’s stuck in shipping limbo and has been for almost three months. It suck monumentally, especially with Bo’s story out already. I’m waiting to hear back from Smashwords and hope that it will hit the virtual shelves very soon. I’m so sorry for the delay. You can get it from Smashwords for Nook in the meantime. Sincere apologies, RE

If you look on the right of the blog towards the bottom, I list upcoming projects for next year….they change frequently as I get inspired for different books but are pretty accurate at the moment!

HI Kim! I just started working on the next book in the wiccan series! I don’t know yet when the book will come out, but optimistically I hope for this fall. I’ll post here when I know more!

  • Kim roth says:

Love ur books I cnt get enough can u tell me when ur next one is out please

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Kim! I have two coming out this summer – hyena heat 2 and ashland pride 2 – and I’m hopeful to have the hyena book out in July and the pride book out in August, but I haven’t made any firm publication dates yet. :-)

  • Alison Brett says:

Hey R.E, I would just like to say thank you soo much for all your great works.
I am an avid reader and love nothing better than curling up with a good book and loosing myself in the story. I can very safely say that you are up there amongst my top favourite authors. And even though i have only just found you (and registered so that i can receive the email updates for all your new works!!!! Yay) i was so entranced with the stories and the characters that i down loaded all your books onto my Kindle and read almost all of them in 1 week, the only books i have yet to read are the ones in the necklace series.
I love the way that some of the characters come across a villainous in some stories and then lovable and down to earth in others. Even though this is a supernatural series, which i love, all the characters feel real and relatable.
I am waiting with baited breath to see what will happen in all the series and know that what ever the out come i will be transported into worlds that are rich, vibrant and full of mistry and wonder.
Thanking you in advance for all the new wonderful books to come we all love them.
    AJ xoxo

    • R.E. Butler says:

Dear AJ, thank you so much for your amazing comment! I’m so glad that you found my books and have been enjoying them. It thrills me to hear that you feel like my characters are real and relatable!! Thank you for being such an awesome fan and reader, and for taking the time to write. All the best, RE

  • Tonje Aashaug says:

    Greetings from Norway!
I just LOVE your work! I read a lot of books, and you are now an auto-buy! You have everything a good book needs, and I think it’s awsome that you write follow-ups on each pack/pride ect.. About to start on Michael now :) Callie and the cats was so hot! Thanx for the amazing work you do! Love you

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Tonje! Greetings from the states right back! I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed my books and I’m honored to be an auto-buy! I’m glad you enjoyed Callie’s story and I hope that you really love Michael’s, too! All the best, RE

  • Pamala says:

RE, My name Is Pamala, I so enjoy reading all of your books. I love them, and for some reason I am stuck on shape shifting books, I can not get into any other kinds of books, can you tell me more titles to read. When is the 2nd Hyena Heat coming out? Thanks for all your GREAT work.

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hello Pamala! I really love reading and writing shape shifters, too! I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed my books! The 2nd hyena heat book (Every Dawn Forever) should be out in mid-to-late July. You’re very welcome, thanks for taking the time to stop by the blog and comment! Best, RE

  • Pamala says:

Really, Cool Birthday present to me lol, July 30th. LOVE YOUR BOOKS!

  • Helen says:

Hi there loved all of your books and can’t wait for Hyena Heat 2 to come out….. Thanks for all the good reads. As I’m all caught up on your books, do have have any recommendations for similar author’s? Kindest regards, Helen.

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Helen! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but your comment wound up in my spam folder for some crazy reason! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed my stories. Hyena Heat 2 should be out at some point this July (mid-to-late in the month most likely) and I’ll post on the blog when I know the publication date for certain. For paranormal romances (which is one of my favorite genres to read), I recommend Shelly Laurenston, Vivian Arend, and Jennifer Ashley as great authors to try out if you haven’t read them already. There are so many amazing paranormal romance authors out there! Thanks for stopping by the blog and commenting! All the best, RE

  • Helen says:

Thanks for the tips. I’ll check those authors out.
    Kindest regards,
    Helen

  • Tina says:

Hi Like the books so far. I am glad Hyena Heat 2 will be out soon. Can’t wait. Can you tell me when the next book in the Ashland Pride Series is coming out?

    • R.E. Butler says:

Hi Tina! I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed my books! The next book in the Ashland Pride series, Loving Lachlyn, should be out in mid-to-late August. I don’t have a firm publication date at the moment because it’s still being edited. I’ll posted updates here on the blog and also on my FB page when I know more. Thanks for stopping by! Best, RE

  • Just wanted to say thank you for all the awesome books!! I have read and re-read almost all. I am in awe of your talent. I am anguishly awaiting more.

  • Barbara says:

Your books are great and I have enjoyed all of them. I was wondering if you are done with the wolves and the bears or if there will be more. Thank you again.

    • R.E. Butler says:

      Thanks, Barbara!

I’m not done with the wolves, I have several more books to write in that series. As far as the bears, I’m not sure if I’ll actually write more about the bear den itself or if I’ll just be continuing on with the jilted lovers from the first book. Daeton will get a follow up story as well at some point. I never say never when it comes to what books I might write in the future, though!

  • Peggy says:

Is Ben, Reika’s brother, going to have his own story?

  • Elyon Rosewood says:

Love Callie and her cats, but Jason is such a dick and Cadence is such a jealous bitch. Honestly, I would say she (Cadence) got what was coming to her by staying in that terrible pack and marrying that inconsiderate-by-comparison man, Jason. Callie was smart and I’m so glad she got her own happily ever after! :D

    • Flo says:

Jason and Cades seemed almost like different people from their book. Callie was the bitch in mho, she left the pack to help Cades but then dumped Cades as well hurting her horribly, a deep betrayal. Callie did not have to do that to her. This book just left me angry with Callie over what she did to Cades.

  • Kyra Zane says:

Can’t wait for Hyena Heat 2 “Every Dawn Forever”!!!

  • claire kirkbright says:

just stared reading the wolf’s mate series and im on book 4 Michael and Shyne i have to so im loving them i read the first 3 books in 2 days keep them coming lol :)

  • Fiona says:

The wolfs mate books are amazing, I’ve read all 6 in the space of a week! The next one should definitely be Tellers story :)

    • rebutler says:

Hi Fiona! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed the series! I haven’t decided yet who will get the next book…decisions, decisions!

  • Martine says:

You got me hooked on Jason and Cadence and I’ve been staying with the wild ride ever since! Thank you I know it’s just been two months since Logan & Jenna but damn I ready for whoever and you left us with no per-cursor on whose next so I’m thinking of any potential characters,

    • rebutler says:

Martine, I’m glad that I was able to hook you with Jason & Cades’ story! I didn’t put a “coming next” at the end of Logan’s book because I haven’t decided yet who will get the next one! It’s very hard to choose from the waiting characters, but I’m looking forward to visiting Allen again soon! Thanks for your awesome compliment!

  • Shawnie Nicole says:

I have the first book, must get the rest soon….

  • Lorrie says:

When will the rest of your books come out in print?

    • rebutler says:

Hi Lorrie! I’m working on getting the print books out and am hoping to have Linus’ book out by the end of September and then the other books to follow as quickly as I can get them out. For now, only Jason’s book is available in print.

  • Ellen Murray says:

Enjoyed all of your books that I have read so far. In wolf’s mate you need to give Ben and Libby their own story. I’m looking forward to the rest of the jilted lover’s in the Wicca series.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Ellen! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my books!! Ben and Lindy are on my short list of characters for the next book in the series. I haven’t decided yet who will get the next book. I’m working on another wiccan story, though, and hope to have it out by the end of the year! :-)

  • When do you think you’ll have the 7th book coming out and who will it be

    • rebutler says:

Hi Stepheny! I haven’t decided who will get the 7th book in the series yet! My short list is Teller, Ben, or Lindy. I would anticipate having another book out early next year, perhaps in the spring!

  • hi i read all your wolf books, and really enjoyed them, they had all the emotions, hate ,love, fear, and happy, and i loved the way they were all layed out,i want to read them a second time just to make sure i didn`t miss any thing, waiting for the next book.

  • Ashley Coonfield says:

I have read all the wolf mate books, the Ashland prides series, the Hyena Heat series and the Wiccan-were-bear series. I love all the books. I was wondering if you going to a story about Shayne, Jazlyn brother, I really to read the story about him finding his.

    • athena1976 says:

Me too! I’d also like to know more about some others in the pack too.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Ashley! I am planning to write a collection of novella-length stories about Shayne and his entire family, each of the six family members getting their own story. I have no idea when it will come out, but it’s fun to go back and revisit that family. I especially loved Shayne, too. :-)

  • Julie says:

    • rebutler says:

Hi Susan! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed The Wolf’s Mate series! I have five more books in the series planned for now, but I never say never to new characters appearing or old ones coming back! :-)

  • Jennifer says:

Hello, I really enjoyed The Wolf’s Mate series. I have read and re-read them a few times. But I just got re-reading Callie’s and the Cats, and I wanted to know, or suggest, maybe you could turn that into a series. I would like to see how Alek or the other mountain lions get mates. And see how Callie, Ethan, and Eryx sons’ are doing with what shift they are. Just putting my thought out there. But is that something you thought about or not? Thank you for writing these amazing books.

    • Jennifer says:

Never mind. This is my first time on your website and I just found Ashland Pride. Well, now I’m off to buy and enjoy reading those books. hehe

    • rebutler says:

Hi Jennifer! I’m so glad that you found the Ashland Pride series! It was thoughtful suggestions like yours that made me want to turn Callie’s new family into a series and I’m looking forward to exploring them and that includes the kids! Thanks so much for sharing, I’m so glad that you enjoyed it! Best, RE

  • Tracy Fagan says:

Who is the next Wolf’s mate book about?

    • rebutler says:

Hi Tracy! I haven’t released that information yet. I’m pretty sure who will get the next book, but I’m not going to announce it for a little while longer in case I change my mind. :-)

  • Ronnie says:

Wolf Mates series was fun and each one was different and the details were consistent to all of them. There’s so much room for more mates in the town. Go to it.

    • rebutler says:

Ronnie, I love your enthusiasm! I agree – there’s plenty of room in Allen! I’m writing as fast as I can, I promise! Thanks so much for stopping by! Best, RE

  • Chrissy says:

I just wanted to stop in and say thank you for the great stories you provide. I am an avid reader and I appreciate that you continue to write stories for all the characters you create that we invest ourselves in. So many authors start a series and never finish. I have reached out to a few and they say they don’t have plans to finish a series, but hey read my new series I just started….why would I want to invest in another series if I know you don’t follow through. I really appreciate you as an author who is authentic and thinks of your readers. Reading is more than a pastime for me. I get so invested in the stories and characters. Again thank you and please keep writing. :)

    • rebutler says:

Hi Chrissy! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed my stories. What you said about finishing series really rings true to me. I also am an avid series reader and feel the same way. Even though there are new series that I am writing (like the mountain lions and hyenas for example), I am continuing to move through the other series to finish them off. Besides knowing that it would bother readers to leave characters “hanging”, I really want to see them all get their stories, too! The wiccan-were-bear series has many more to go before it’s done, and I can’t wait to continue to move through the stories. Thank so much for sharing your thoughts! Hugs, RE

  • Kirstine says:

Hi, I have wanted to leave you a message for a while now but haven’t had the courage before, until now. I have read all your books and think you are an amazing author, my favourite series has got to be The Wolf’s Mate series. Unfortunately I have to download all your books again as my ipad broke and I had to get a new one, do you know when your next book in The Wolf’s Mate is due out so I can put it in my reminders box. Take Care and happy writing.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Kirstine! I’m so sorry to hear about your iPad broke! I haven’t yet decided who will get the next wolf’s mate book, so I don’t have a publication date in mind. I do plan to have one out next year at some point, so my best advice is to follow the blog or my FB page so you’ll be kept up to date. I wish I could say more, but I just don’t have any info right now. Thanks for stopping by and finding the courage to write to me, I really love to hear from fans! Hugs, RE

  • Hi, I was just wondering if you have made up your mind on the 7th book in this wolf mate book yet

    • rebutler says:

Hi Stepheny! I haven’t decided yet on the next wolf’s mate book, sorry! I hope to be able to start writing on it in the next few months and will post on the blog when I know for sure. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, RE

  • By the way love your books

  • Nicole Goodsell says:

Hi, just wanted to say that I love your books with the wolf’s mate series being my favourite. Though I have to admit I was disappointed in how callies character developed. But am so excited for book 7 thankyou.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Nicole! I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the series in spite of your feelings for Callie’s character. :-) I’m hoping to have another book in the series out next year, but don’t have a date in mind yet. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, RE

  • I love this series and was wondering if there will be a book 7 ?
    Happy reading and writing*

  • Kim says:

First of all – I am a huge fan of all the Wolf Mate series – except for Cade’s and Jason’s story. I started the series with Linus’ and Angel’s story and could hardly wait to read everyone’s story except theirs (Cade’s and Jason’s). Something about her just rubbed me the wrong way and just couldn’t hit the buy button. That being said – your books are my go to reread books when I can’t find something new to read. Love your Hyena series too. How many books do you have planned for both series?

  • faith says:

i really loved the wolf mate series, when i start them i can`t seem to lay it down till its done and that some times is hard, when you fall asleep reading, then when i start agaig i go back a few pages to make sure i didn`t miss any thing.

  • faith says:

but haow can you end a series when life goes on and there are always things happening, and new people coming in to play,i guess i just look forward to the next book.

    • rebutler says:

You’re really right, Faith! It would be hard to end a series because many of the characters feel like family to me! I am not ready to see final stories for any of my series yet, though. :-)

      • Even though I agree with Faith, I do understand that it is up to the publisher in how many books are in that series. My favorite author Kate Douglas explained it to me when she had to end her Wolf Tale series.
        Happy reading and writing*
        Teresa

        • rebutler says:

I’m my own publisher, Teresa, (I self-publish) so I am completely in charge of what happens in my books/series. Which is good for me, but it still means I have to make the decision myself about when a series ends and what happens with them. Sometimes it’s easy, but most of the time…not!

    • I so agree with you Faith! I hate to see a great series end and I find myself finding ways for it to go on!
      Happy reading and writing*
      Teresa

  • I love this series!!! Will there be another book after Logan and Jenna?
    Happy reading and writing*
    Teresa

    • rebutler says:

Hi Teresa! I’m so glad to hear that you enjoy The Wolf’s Mate series! I haven’t decided when the wolf’s mate series will end, but I do plan to write at least one more book, possibly two. I haven’t made any announcements yet, it’s just me musing and wondering which books still need to be written in the series before I say goodbye to Allen and move on. I’ll be sad, though, because I do love it so much. :-)

  • faith says:

yea………….i really glad to hear that, and you`r right, when i read a new one its like reading about a friend or family,i hope they go for quite a while.

  • faith says:

how about one of the pack mates and goes to her pack and then you get new people and can still pick up on some of the old pack, that way there are new things happening in the new lives and surroundings .

  • Lori says:

I have to say that I have enjoyed reading this series, very much. The characters are so well developed I can see them in my minds eye. I have to say you are one of my favorite authors. I look forward to more of this series and am waiting with bated breath for the news of the upcoming release dates.

    • rebutler says:

I’m so happy to be one of your favorite authors, Lori! That’s so awesome! I’m hoping to have another book in this series out early next year, so stay tuned to the blog for details. XOXO, RE

  • Peggy says:

Would love to see Ben or Lindy get their own story before you say goodbye to Allen.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Peggy! I think that Lindy will probably get the next book, but I haven’t decided yet. I really like Ben’s character, too, and I never say never when it comes to the potential for a storyline. I’m not ready to say goodbye to Allen just yet. :-)

  • Dominique says:

I read the Wolf’s Mate Series more than one time and I love them all. I had difficulties with the way Callie dumped her best friend even if I understood her reasons, I do hope that this series will continue. For now I am reading Every Dawn Forever and I like the fact that they are part of the Were Underground and I remember that you talked about that group in the Wolf’s Mate Series. Except for the Chronicles Series, I read all your books and love them all. You really are a great writer. Keep writing and I’ll keep on downloading them on my Kindle! :)

  • rebutler says:

Hi Dominque! I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the Wolf’s Mate series! Callie’s book was definitely difficult for me to write because of the ending of the friendship. I have plans to continue on in the series although I don’t know how many more books there will be. Thank you so much for your sweet compliments and support! All the best, RE

  • CarenA says:

Will you be continuing the Wolf’s Mate series? I would love to read Ben’s story and his take on his new pack.

    • rebutler says:

Hi CarenA! I know that there will be at least one more book in the wolf’s mate series, which will be Lindy’s. I haven’t decided if Ben will get a book or not yet and I haven’t decided to officially end the series or to keep it going. I really like Ben, though, and had planned to write a story for him so I’ll just have to see where the muse takes me with him and the series. :-)

      • Peggy says:

So glad to hear the Lindy is gonna have her own story. I didn’t like her at first but after re-reading this series a few times I’m curious about her and what kind of mate can match with her =D Crossing my fingers that your muse takes you deeper into this series with more amazing stories and characters and hope Ben will be after Lindy XD Happy Writing and Thanks for the awesome world you have created!

        • rebutler says:

Hi Peggy! I kind of felt the same way about Lindy! She kind of grew on me throughout the series, too. You’re very sweet, thank you so much for the awesome compliments! All the best, RE

      • San says:

High keep it going. I love it and with and plot. The invasion of humans on pack land.. good stuff.

  • sarayondra says:

    • rebutler says:

Sarayondra, thank you so much for stopping by! I’m so glad to have you as a fan and so thrilled that you’ve enjoyed my books. Logan & Jenna is definitely a favorite storyline of mine. I actually haven’t thought about what would happen when they have kids, but it’s really neat to think about. As I continue on the series, I’ll be able to check in with them and we’ll see where things go. I never say never with stories! Thanks again for dropping in! Hugs, RE

  • anna says:

Hi, i’ve wanted to read your books for quite some time now, I have this app and I’ve searched with your name r.e. and nothings coming up. I was wondering if you could tell me whar r.e. stands for since I haven’t been able to find that, so I can do a new search and maybe find some books. Thanks

    • rebutler says:

Hi Anna! I’m not sure why you can’t find me – but I’m not sure where you’re looking. My books are only available online, aside from Amazon where two of my books are available for print. If you go to the BOOKS tab of my website there are links for each series/book to each outlet (Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, etc.). I’m only searchable by my author name…RE Butler. I hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by! RE

  • Lee says:

really looking forward to Lindy’s book. have you decided on a release date?

    • rebutler says:

Hi Lee! I hope to have Lindy’s book out in May, but whether it will be early or late in the month, I’m not sure…it all depends on how quick the editing process goes. :-)

  • San says:

Yea, I am really looking forward to Book 7 and so forth..

  • Helle says:

Just finish book 6 of the wolf mated series. I love them all, I am a little sad that I’m finish with the series. Do you write a book about Ben’s story.

    • rebutler says:

Hello!! I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the wolf’s mate books! I am currently working on the 7th book in the series which I hope will be out later this spring. I would like to write a few more stories in this series in the future, including Ben. :-)

  • Dee says:

Hi, I have read 1 through 5 in the last couple of days of the Wolf’s Mate series. These are such enjoyable books to read. I try to keep up on a couple of wolf shifter series by different authors and came across book 1 of your Wolf’s Mate series this last Thursday and had to get all the rest, it was so good. I am starting book 6 now. I tend to like wolf shifter books the most. I find the mating for life and there being one mate for one mate romantic. I understand book 7 is coming out late spring. I hope you will continue to write many more for this series. You are a wonderful writer. You know how to hold your reader’s attention making it hard for them to put your book down and when they are done with one they can’t wait to start reading another. Thank you for write these wonderful books and I look forward to many more for this series.

    • rebutler says:

Dee, I’m very glad that you’ve enjoyed the wolf’s mate books. Yes, the 7th book in the series will be out in early May. I’ll be posting about it in the next few weeks. I enjoy the series very much, it’s like writing about my family so I hope to be able to continue on in the series for many more books. Thank you for the amazing compliments, I’m truly humbled. All the best, RE

  • mandie says:
