Marking Melody-highresMarking Melody (Book Three) – January 2014

Tristan and Micah Harrison would do anything to keep Melody safe, even if it means walking away from the Ashland Pride and their own family forever.  When problems arise in their hometown of King, Pennsylvania, it turns out that the males aren’t the only ones who don’t approve of their mating.

Be prepared for two males with plans to hold onto their mate forever, a female searching for a place to call home, and an enemy who is always looking for new ways to wreak havoc in the males’ lives.  This book contains sweet males, a feisty female, and m/f/m loving.

Redeeming-Rue-highresRedeeming Rue (Book 4) – October 2014

As an albino black panther banished by her people, Veruka Jennings knows if her clan discovers she had a child, it would mean death for them both.  Labeled an abomination and forbidden from having cubs, she’s spent the better part of her life as an outcast, believing she is worthless because of the color of her fur.  After secretly overhearing traveling clan members discuss a bonding ceremony in Indiana, she decides to spy on the proceedings for one last look at the people who treated her like trash.

When James and John Fallon investigate a shadowy figure in the woods during a bonding ceremony, they do not expect to find the woman they are meant to share.  But instead of enjoying their mating, they are embroiled in a clan war as they fight to protect Veruka and her son, who have come to mean everything to them.  If they can protect her, will they be able to keep her?  Or will Rue believe she’s not worthy of their love and disappear from their lives forever?

Saving Scarlett-highres

Saving Scarlett (Book 5) – April 2015

Scarlett Jamison, the daughter of a powerful alpha wolf, knows her freedom is slowly slipping away. As a Breeding Queen, her hereditary destiny is to be given away to a male of her father’s choosing. She’ll have no say in the choice of her mate; her only duty will be to give her future mate as many pups as he wants. What her father doesn’t know, though, is that Scarlett took her best friend Melody’s wedding as an opportunity to spend the night with two amazing male mountain lions. They rocked her world and stole her heart, and then she had to leave them behind and cut all contact. Even though her heart protests that Wesley and Ray Fiero are her truemates, she has no choice but to obey her father…until a certain quirk in her DNA changes everything.

Ray and Wesley won’t give up on Scarlett. One night was not nearly enough for them. Finding Scarlett turns out to be easy. Taking her back to Ashland to live happily ever after? Now, that’s going to be dangerous. Ray and Wesley are willing to go to any length to protect Scarlett’s right to choose them no matter the cost, but when an innocent life is on the line, will the payment for her disobedience be blood?

This book contains one female who has her choices taken from her, two males determined to make her theirs, and a pride willing to help. Expect plenty of m/f/m interaction, abundant use of the word ‘mine,’ and inappropriate use of a horse statue.

Chasing Cristabel (Book 6) June 2016

Lioness Cristabel Hardison would do just about anything to avoid going home to Kentucky, where her father, the king of their pride, wants to mate her to a male of his choosing. When her roommate needs to vacate his condo, she takes her best friend, Lily, up on her offer to let her stay in Ashland until she can find another job and a new place to live.

Cousins Dylan, Chase, and Hunter Hall aren’t sure they’ll ever find a mate to share. Just because other lions have found their mates doesn’t mean that every male is meant to. Then one day at the town diner, they scent their mate, except no one knows who she is, and they only know that she smells like sunshine and tall grass. Their desire to find their mate takes over their lives and nothing – not even a pesky new waitress at Kickers Bar – is going to stop them from figuring out who their mate is and loving her forever.

When Cris meets her mates, sparks fly fast, and she finds herself at the center of their world. Her father isn’t happy, and when he brings an uninvited guest to crash her happiness, her own future may not be the only thing on the line.   This book contains three males who want to hold on to their lioness forever, a female with some unresolved family issues, a house full of lions who will protect their own, and enough heat to melt the snow. Contains m/f/m/m interaction

I just have to say that I LOVE all of your books and think that it is amazing that you respond to all your readers. I mean you write so many books and have soooooo much on your plate but you still take the time to sit down and respond to your readers. I have yet to find another author that does this. I also like that I can read what other people send you so that I don’t ask you some of the same questions because I know that might get old fast. You are an amazing writer and it just seems like you would be someone that takes the time to actually care. Thank you for that and I wish more writers would do what you do. Oh and thank you for being a writer!!

    • rebutler says:

Melissa, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! Because you (and others) take the time to write to me, I want to take the time to write back. Sometimes I’m not as quick as I’d like to be with responses but I always do my best to get back to everyone. Without the support of amazing readers like yourself, I don’t know where I would be. I love the openness of the website so you can find things for yourself, but I’m always happy to respond to each question and I never get tired of talking about the series and characters. 🙂 Thank you so much, you really made my day! Hugs, RE

        • rebutler says:

Hi Coby! I don’t know that it will be on Kobo. At the moment, only Lachlyn’s book is up…Samantha’s was taken down months ago during their sweep of indie books. It is for sure available on, though! Thanks for your help, I appreciate you stepping in with information. All the best, RE

      • rebutler says:

Hi Farah! I wish I could do something about it, but Kobo removed that series from their website. I don’t know why they did, except it happened several months ago during their indecency sweep. Unfortunately it is out of my hands. You can, though, purchase books for your kobo reader through for the same low prices. I’m really sorry that it happened and it’s affected readers.

    • rebutler says:

You’re such a wonderful author I can suck your readers right into the world’s you’ve created. • rebutler says:

Hi Amanda! I’m glad that you’re enjoying Melody’s book! Yes, Jilly will get a book, but not until the three years have passed in the storyline when it’s time for her and her panthers to get married. Before her book, the other lions will be getting their books, but she’ll be popping up in books here and there so we don’t forget her. 🙂

  • Amanda says:

Lol nevermind, patients has not always been my strong suit. 😀

Hi Kelly! I’m currently about midway through writing Rue’s book. I hope it will be out in the fall, but I’m not certain about the timing at the moment. Once it hits the editing stage, I’ll be able to plan the release and will share that information right away. 🙂

  • I am re-re-reading all of your books again, after your release of Every Sunset Forever got me hooked once again on your writings worlds, I await your next book in eager anticipation. Sadly I an going to have to buy a new e-reader as I have worn out the page turning button on my current one, it should have a longer than 4 year shelf life, but when I think about the amount of books I have read and re-read on it, it seems worth it.
Thanks for your great writing. 🙂

  • Cathy Sprouse says:

I guess it’s time to move on to REDEMING RUE so I can get to SAVING SCARLETT. Funny…while reading MARKING MELODY last night, I came across the telephone conversation Melody was having with Scarlett and I thought to myself how great it would be for Scarlett to get her own book. I must be psychic! Thank you so very much R E for sharing your talents. I know I’ve said in the past in emails to you that you set the standard for were-creatures and I tell other authors that, too. YOU are THAT good!!!
