Scarlett Jamison, the daughter of a powerful alpha wolf, knows her freedom is slowly slipping away. As a Breeding Queen, her hereditary destiny is to be given away to a male of her father’s choosing. She’ll have no say in the choice of her mate; her only duty will be to give her future mate as many pups as he wants. What her father doesn’t know, though, is that Scarlett took her best friend Melody’s wedding as an opportunity to spend the night with two amazing male mountain lions. They rocked her world and stole her heart, and then she had to leave them behind and cut all contact. Even though her heart protests that Wesley and Ray Fiero are her truemates, she has no choice but to obey her father…until a certain quirk in her DNA changes everything.

Ray and Wesley won’t give up on Scarlett. One night was not nearly enough for them. Finding Scarlett turns out to be easy. Taking her back to Ashland to live happily ever after? Now, that’s going to be dangerous. Ray and Wesley are willing to go to any length to protect Scarlett’s right to choose them no matter the cost, but when an innocent life is on the line, will the payment for her disobedience be blood?

This book contains one female who has her choices taken from her, two males determined to make her theirs, and a pride willing to help. Expect plenty of m/f/m interaction, abundant use of the word ‘mine,’ and inappropriate use of a horse statue.

When her roommate needs to vacate his condo, she takes her best friend, Lily, up on her offer to let her stay in Ashland until she can find another job and a new place to live.

Cousins Dylan, Chase, and Hunter Hall aren’t sure they’ll ever find a mate to share. Just because other lions have found their mates doesn’t mean that every male is meant to. Then one day at the town diner, they scent their mate, except no one knows who she is, and they only know that she smells like sunshine and tall grass. Their desire to find their mate takes over their lives and nothing – not even a pesky new waitress at Kickers Bar – is going to stop them from figuring out who their mate is and loving her forever.

When Cris meets her mates, sparks fly fast, and she finds herself at the center of their world. Her father isn’t happy, and when he brings an uninvited guest to crash her happiness, her own future may not be the only thing on the line.   This book contains three males who want to hold on to their lioness forever, a female with some unresolved family issues, a house full of lions who will protect their own, and enough heat to melt the snow. Contains m/f/m/m interaction

  20. I just have to say that I LOVE all of your books and think that it is amazing that you respond to all your readers. I mean you write so many books and have soooooo much on your plate but you still take the time to sit down and respond to your readers. I have yet to find another author that does this. I also like that I can read what other people send you so that I don’t ask you some of the same questions because I know that might get old fast. You are an amazing writer and it just seems like you would be someone that takes the time to actually care. Thank you for that and I wish more writers would do what you do. Oh and thank you for being a writer!!

    1. Melissa, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! Because you (and others) take the time to write to me, I want to take the time to write back. I love the openness of the website so you can find things for yourself, but I’m always happy to respond to each question and I never get tired of talking about the series and characters. 🙂 Thank you so much, you really made my day! Hugs, RE

(I love Callie and the cats 😉 )

    2. Hi Farah: Hopefully by the time you read this you will have bought and downloaded her first two books from the Ashland Pride series. At this time the 3rd, Marking Melody is not YET available at Kobo. Hopefully soon

    3. Hi Coby! I don’t know that it will be on Kobo. At the moment, only Lachlyn’s book is up…Samantha’s was taken down months ago during their sweep of indie books. It is for sure available on smashwords.com, though! Thanks for your help, I appreciate you stepping in with information. All the best, RE

    4. Hi Farah! I wish I could do something about it, but Kobo removed that series from their website. I don’t know why they did, except it happened several months ago during their indecency sweep. Unfortunately it is out of my hands. You can, though, purchase books for your kobo reader through Smashwords.com for the same low prices. I’m really sorry that it happened and it’s affected readers.

You’re such a wonderful author I can suck your readers right into the world’s you’ve created. 29. I love your books. Thay suck me in and keep me up all night! Then when I finish one I end up with a major book hangover lol!!!!!

    1. I love that – book hangover – what a great phrase! I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed my stories! Hugs, RE

  30. I love your books. Completely addicted. I’ve read both the Wolf Mate series and Ashland pride series, both are great. I drooling at the K-9s to know when the next book is coming for Ashland. Will there be anymore for the Wolf Mate gang?

    1. Hi Michelle! I love being addicting, LOL! I hope to have the 4th book for Ashland out this year, perhaps the fall…I’m not sure yet. Right now I’m working on editing the 7th wolf’s mate book which I hope will be out in May! 🙂

  31. Hi I think your books are great I love them all can’t wait for your next books to come out 🙂

  32. I have been enjoying your ashland pride books, love the characters and the stong family bonds. I’m currently reading Melodys book. Will their be a story for Jilly?

    1. Hi Amanda! I’m glad that you’re enjoying Melody’s book! Yes, Jilly will get a book, but not until the three years have passed in the storyline when it’s time for her and her panthers to get married. Before her book, the other lions will be getting their books, but she’ll be popping up in books here and there so we don’t forget her. 🙂

    1. I don’t mind at all, Amanda! I’m not the most patient person, either, LOL!

  33. Love this series and callie and the cats is my all time favorite! When is the next one coming? And what about alec?

    1. Hi Sherri! The next book should be out in the fall. It will be James & John’s story. Alek already has a book – Loving Lachlyn – which is the 2nd in the series. I love Callie & her boys, too! Best, RE

    1. Hi Kelly! I’m currently about midway through writing Rue’s book. I hope it will be out in the fall, but I’m not certain about the timing at the moment. Once it hits the editing stage, I’ll be able to plan the release and will share that information right away. 🙂

  35. I am re-re-reading all of your books again, after your release of Every Sunset Forever got me hooked once again on your writings worlds, I await your next book in eager anticipation. Sadly I an going to have to buy a new e-reader as I have worn out the page turning button on my current one, it should have a longer than 4 year shelf life, but when I think about the amount of books I have read and re-read on it, it seems worth it.
Thanks for your great writing. 🙂

  36. I just got Redeeming Rue and see where Jolly has her mates. Is there a story that maybe I missed. Could you let me know. I love all of your books and have read love all of them. 37. Alice Addie October 31, 2014: I love all of your books and get them as fast as I can . Been reading the Ashland pride series over again so I can catch what I missed the 1st time before reading the new one . Redeeming Rue was as good as I knew it would be. How long until Saving Scarlett comes out. And have to know who the new brothers mate will be . Is it a relative of Scarlett,s ? Thanks for all the good reading. Wishing you all the best. Happy Halloween.

    1. Hi Alice! I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed Rue’s story! I’m very excited for Saving Scarlett. 38. Hi! I’m a little confused about who’s who in this series( that’s what I get for reading multiple books at the same time) is there any way that we could get a list of the mates and their corresponding books?

    1. Hi Jasmine, it is on my list to add a character reference list on the blog. I haven’t had time to coordinate with my designer yet, though. Thanks for letting me know what you’d like to see! All the best, RE

  40. MARKING MELODY is my favourite in this series. I’m a fourth of the way through it. This is the third time I’ve read it since it became available. I guess it’s time to move on to REDEMING RUE so I can get to SAVING SCARLETT. Funny…while reading MARKING MELODY last night, I came across the telephone conversation Melody was having with Scarlett and I thought to myself how great it would be for Scarlett to get her own book. I must be psychic! Thank you so very much R E for sharing your talents. I know I’ve said in the past in emails to you that you set the standard for were-creatures and I tell other authors that, too. YOU are THAT good!!!

    1. Hi Judylee! I’m so glad that you’ve enjoyed Melody’s story so much! I knew when I introduced Scarlett in Melody’s story that she would get her own book eventually and I’m really thrilled that it’s coming out on Saturday! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, you made my day! Hugs, RE
