Looking Back at 2013 & Looking Ahead to 2014

I cannot believe that 2013 is nearly over!  The year has just flown by.

I kicked off 2013 with Seducing Samantha, the first of the Ashland Pride series.   Then Melo’s story (A Twitch of Tail, #6 in the Wiccan Were Bear series), Logan & Jenna (Wolf’s Mate #6), Every Dawn Forever (Hyena Heat #2), Loving Lachlyn (Ashland Pride #2), A Promise on White Wings (Jes’ story in the WWB series, #7), and the first of my new Wilde Creek series, Mate of Her Heart.

2013 has been truly wild.  The emails, FB messages and posts,  and blog comments have meant the world to me.  I can’t thank you all enough for making 2013 so successful.  I’m excited for what 2014 has in store.

In 2014, my writing plans include the following books:

  • Marking Melody (Ashland Pride #3)
  • The Alpha’s Heart (Wilde Creek #2)
  • The Wolf’s Mate #7
  • Every Sunset Forever (Hyena Heat #3)

I also hope to continue on in other series including books in the Wiccan-Were-Bear, Ashland Pride, Necklace Chronicles, and Wilde Creek series.

I’m ready for 2014 to start and looking forward to sharing it with my friends and fans.  To celebrate the coming year, I’m revealing the cover and description for Marking Melody, Ashland Pride Three, which will be available for purchase on January 20th.  The cover was done by the fabulous and always amazing Valerie Tibbs at Tibbs Design.  She’s done fab covers for some amazing authors; I’m really honored to have had the chance to work with her again (she also did my website this summer, woo!).

Stay tuned to the blog and my facebook page for pre-order details for Melody’s book when it’s available.  I wish all of you much love and happiness in the coming year.  XOXO, RE

Marking Melody (Ashland Pride Three) by RE Butler (Release Date: 1/20/14)Marking Melody-highres

All were-mountain-lion Melody Marx ever wanted was to find her mate and start a family.  After being rescued from her own people by two mountain lions, she knows that she’s found not just one mate, but two.  She goes with them to their old home in Pennsylvania, but finds an even chillier reception than she found in Ashland.

Tristan and Micah Harrison would do anything to keep Melody safe, even if it means walking away from the Ashland Pride and their own family forever.  When problems arise in their hometown of King, Pennsylvania, it turns out that the males aren’t the only ones who don’t approve of their mating.

Be prepared for two males with plans to hold onto their mate forever, a female searching for a place to call home, and an enemy who is always looking for new ways to wreak havoc in the males’ lives.  This book contains sweet males, a feisty female, and m/f/m loving.

Sherry, you made me laugh! I never really thought about it, actually. Romance heroes are supposed to be good in bed, right? But how they get that way…hmmm! You’ve piqued my interest and I’ll have to think about that. Best, RE

just wondering if you will be publishing your new books on Kobo site? I am eagerly awaiting reading Marking Melody but can’t seem to see it come up on Kobo.

    • rebutler says:

Hi Nicole! Kobo actually removed my Ashland pride series from their website several months ago. I don’t know what happened exactly, and it’s disappointing, but unfortunately I can’t control what they allow on their site. You can buy all of my books for your kobo reader on smashwords.com for the same low prices. I’m sorry that it happened! All the best, RE
